Against the backdrop of accelerated global efforts toward carbon neutrality, green buildings have become  a cornerstone of sustainable development. In September 2025, Tianxi Wuxi Andao Intelligent Industrial Park earned LEED Double Gold certification for its exceptional design and comprehensive environmental practices across the entire building lifecycle, establishing a benchmark for green construction in the Yangtze River Delta region.

The attainment of LEED Gold certification, an authoritative accreditation issued by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), constitutes a landmark achievement for Tianxi Group. This success signifies a strategic evolution in sustainable construction, propelling the group from the “exploration” phase to a position of ‘leadership’. This leadership is demonstrated by the full integration of a zero-carbon design philosophy. Grounded in technological innovation and supported by efficient resource utilization, this approach has  yielded replicable, scientifically validated, and commercially viable low-carbon solutions, thereby delineating a coherent pathway for advancing green building practices within the industry.

Located in Xinwu District, Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, this project embodies sustainable principles across its entire lifecycle, delivering substantial environmental benefits. Key initiatives include establishing 174 parking spaces(including 18 EV charging stations and 16 carpool spaces) to reduce transportation-related emissions, applying high-reflectivity coatings to warehouse roofs to mitigate the urban heat island effect, and adhering to strict green construction standards. The cornerstone of its energy strategy is a 1,440.18 kW photovoltaic system, which generates 1.5445 million kWh of electricity annually-enough to power both warehouses. This clean energy production results in annual savings equivalent to 494.24 tons of standard coal, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 1,539.86 tons, alongside significant reduction of 46.33 tons of sulfur dioxide and 23.17 tons of nitrogen oxides.

Water Stewardship: Irrigation demand is minimized through native, drought-resistant landscaping. This is complemented by the installation of high-efficiency water-saving fixtures, culminating in a notable annual water use reduction of 52.5%. furthermore, a sophisticated smart water conservation system employing sub-metering has been implemented to comprehensively monitor and minimize water consumption.

Material Resource Management: The project prioritized the use of sustainable materials, incorporating over 30% recycled and regionally sourced content to reduce the environmental impact associated with transportation. A waste management plan during construction resulted in over 75% of generated waste being diverted from landfills. Centralized recycling stations established on campus ensure the continued promotion of resource recycling during the operations.

Indoor Environmental Quality & Health: To safeguard occupant health, the administrative building is equipped with a fresh air system compliant with ASHRAE standards. Rigorous indoor air quality protocols were enforced during construction, and a smoke-free policy is upheld across the entire campus, protecting both the ecosystem and human health.
